Homework AI Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Homework AI Chrome extension and its supporting services handle information.

Information we handle

• Email address, when a free user chooses to verify access or when a customer purchases or recovers a Pro license.
• Verification and license information, including hashed tokens, daily credit balance, license status, and purchase identifiers.
• Website content needed to provide the user-requested page assistance. Assignment content is processed locally in the browser and is not sent to our license or credit server.
• Feedback or website requests the user voluntarily submits through the extension.
• Standard security and operational logs produced by our hosting providers.

How we use information

We use email and verification data only to verify a free account, enforce and restore daily credits, deliver or recover a purchased license, prevent abuse, provide support, and protect the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for personalized advertising.

Service providers

We use Vercel for hosting, Supabase for secure account and license storage, Stripe for payments, and Gmail or Resend to deliver transactional messages. Voluntary feedback may be delivered through Discord. These providers process only the information needed to provide their respective services.

Storage and security

Information sent between the extension and our service uses HTTPS. License and session tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes where appropriate. Chrome may sync an authentication token or license setting through the user's signed-in Chrome profile.

Retention and deletion

Account and license records are retained while needed to provide access, prevent abuse, handle refunds, and meet legal or accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your free-account information by emailing 1discordbilal1@gmail.com. Purchase records may need to be retained where required by law.

Limited use

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
